Before founding the book publicity company Nissen Public Relations in 2000, Rob Nissen worked for several major publishers including Times Books/Random House, Simon & Schuster, and John Wiley & Sons where he promoted nonfiction titles in all categories and worked on numerous publicity and marketing campaigns. He also recently served as the head of business book publicity for the Business Plus imprint of Grand Central Publishing. Focusing primarily on business, politics, workplace/careers, finance, and other areas of nonfiction Rob works in all areas of book and author publicity including online promotion, and with a wide range of print, radio, and television media.
